MAGGI and Ian Lau Bring K-Pop Energy to London!
author: JUstine DiestaIan Lau X MAGGI, 2026
The best creator collaborations start with the right fit and MAGGI's partnership with Ian Lau is a great example! Here at The Viralist Group, we love seeing creators step into opportunities that feel like a natural extension of the content they already create, and this campaign couldn't have been a better match.
To celebrate the launch of its new Korean-inspired noodle line, MAGGI opened The K-Pop Noodle Shop, a five-day pop-up experience in London from July 1–5, 2026. More than just a product launch, the activation invited fans to immerse themselves in K-pop culture through live music, photo moments, plenty of noodle tasting, and the chance to discover a Korean-inspired noodle flavor that matched their personality.
And who better to capture all that excitement than our very own Ian?
The Perfect Match
Ian is known for his street-interview style content, especially videos inspired by K-pop culture. His ability to connect with people on the spot and create engaging, authentic conversations has earned him a highly engaged audience, making him a natural fit for MAGGI's vision for the campaign!
The goal was simple: bring the energy of the pop-up to life online and invite even more people to experience the excitement surrounding the launch. Ian's content style did exactly that!
The best creator partnerships happen when a creator's strengths naturally align with a brand's vision.
For MAGGI, that meant finding someone who could authentically engage with K-pop fans and capture the excitement of an immersive brand experience. For Ian, it was an opportunity to create the kind of content his audience already knows and loves.
The result was a collaboration that felt authentic, entertaining, and true to both the creator and the brand, a recipe for a successful partnership!
